Description:
The Weckerle "W 180 CL" model is designed for the production of lipsticks and lip balm sticks. There are 180 interchangeable moulds (shape to customer’s specification), which are carried in a rotary table. Within the W 180 product family the W 240/180 SL is designed for the production of slim liners / slim sticks.

During the filling procedure, the moulds are heated by temperature-controlled hot water, then cooled by temperature-controlled chilled water, to solidify the sticks before they are blown out into the godets of the containers by compressed air.

The cooling water is supplied by a remote chiller unit. The bulk is kept liquid in a mobile double melting tank offering the possibility of quick and easy colour change.

The tanks (each tank contains 20 litres or, optionally 50 litres) are equipped with stirrers and they due to their inner liners are easy to clean.

The regulated tank heating has an accuracy of +/-1°C. The servo driven dosing pump is adjustable from 2 to 5 ml and is connected to the tank by a heated flexible tube. The heating of the pump body and the connected hose is also controllable to +/- 1°C.
